<p><strong>Ai suferit o entorsa sau o luxatie? Iata ce ar trebui sa faci in prima faza si care sunt regulile de care trebuie sa tii cont indiferent de gravitatea accidentarii sau de zona afectata:</strong></p>



<p>Pe scurt, protocolul RICE este reprezentat de un set de reguli de prim ajutor care ar trebui cunoscut de fiecare persoana in parte, in cazul unei accidentari la oase, incheieturi sau muschi. Aceste reguli pot fi puse in aplicare de orice persoana, fara a fi necesara o pregatire in domeniul medical. Concret, RICE este prescurtarea de la urmatoarele cuvinte: Rest (odihna), Ice (gheata), Compression (compresii) si Elevation (ridicare).</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ce poti face in cazul unei entorse pana ajungi in cabinetul medicului ortoped. In ce consta protoculul RICE?</strong></h2>



<p>In ortopedie, termenul RICE face referire la setul de reguli pe care trebui sa le faca oricine in cazul unei accidentari, inainte de a ajunge in cabinetul medicului ortoped. Astfel, „REST” presupune repausul zonei care a suferit o accidentare, „ICE” presupune aplicarea unei pungi cu gheata in zona corpului accidentata, de exemplu glezna in cazul unei luxatii. „COMPRESSION” presupune imobilizarea pe cat de mult posibil a zonei afectate cu ajutorul unei fase elastice, iar termenul „ELEVATION” necesita ca membrul afectat sa fie tinut intr-o pozitie deasupra nivelului inimii pentru ca inflamatia sa fie astfel redusa.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>De ce este necesar repausul? Dar aplicarea pungilor cu gheata pe zona afectata?</strong></h2>



<p>In primul rand, fiecare pacient trebuie sa inteleaga ca in momentul in care durerea apare la oricare dintre membrele corpului, trebuie sa inceteze orice fel de activitate fizica care ar putea pune in pericol si mai tare sanatatea organismului. Durerea reprezinta primul semnal de alarma care ar trebui sa ii indemne pe oameni sa se prezinte cat mai repede la un consult de specialitate. De multe ori, chiar și o activitate fizica care nu este foarte solicitanta pentru corpul nostru, precum mersul, ar putea crea complicatii la nivelul zonei accidentate. In acest fel, diagnosticul s-ar putea agrava, iar perioadele de tratament si recuperare pot fi mai lungi si complexe. De aceea, repausul este primul lucru pe care il poate face oricine atunci cand acuza dureri. Ulterior, pungile cu gheata contribuie la reducerea semnificativa a unei inflamatii si a durerii. Pacientul trebuie sa aplice un pachet cu gheata (neaparat acoperit cu un prosop) pentru 15, chiar 20 de minute la fiecare doua ore in primele doua zile dupa accidentare.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Compresia si Elevatia in cazul unei entorse sau luxatii. Cand putem apela la aceste metode?</strong></h2>



<p>In cazul in care ati suferit o entorsa sau luxatie de exemplu, primul pas este acela de a opri inflamatia. Cum puteti face acest lucru? Este foarte important ca pe zona afectata sa se aplice un bandaj sau un elastic medical insa, suficient de lejer pentru a nu bloca circulatia sangelui si pentru a nu provoca dureri suplimentare si presiuni in zona afectata. De asemenea, membrul care a suferit o accidentare trebuie ridicat deasupra nivelului inimii atunci cand se afla in repaus si trebuie tinut in aceasta pozitie cat mai mult timp cu putinta. In acest fel este imbunatatita circulația sangelui, iar riscul formarii unor trombi sau a unor vanatai este diminuat.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Ce se intampla daca protoculul RICE nu este respectat?</strong></h2>



<p>Indiferent de natura sau gravitatea accidentarii, regulile de prim ajutor reprezinta o necesitate, iar amanarea lor sau mai grav, ignorarea totala a acestora poate decide soarta diagnosticului si poate conduce catre complicatii care vor necesita interventii chirurgicale si o recuperare de lunga durata. Daca unul dintre membrele inferioare este afectat de exemplu, iar pacientul continua activitatea fizica (fie ea la intensitate mica sau mare) isi minimizeaza sansa la un tratament non-invaziv si creste sansa de a fi necesara o interventie chirurgicala si o recuperare mai longeviva. Astfel, la primele simptome este absolut necesara o consultatie de specialitate pentru ca medicul ortoped sa gaseasca solutia potrivita pentru pacient.</p>
